Hi everyone! Its been awhile since I have posted, just thought I would join in an share a photo..And say I have missed you all... I really enjoy seeing some familar names here. Nice meet all of you that I see posting all your great photos!

Nice one! I'm not having much luck with them this year, but that big blue is my favorite.

That's fascinating, rhizo_1 - although this plant doesn't grow outdoors in the UK I have seen it many times abroad and never noticed any fragrance. I actually have a pretty acute sense of smell so I must sniff harder next time I see one. Do you think different specimens might have a different amount of fragrance?

I can't tell if that's smaller lawn grass or a taller something. Are the flowers miniscule, or just regular-small? Can't see the little blooms clearly but made me think of Trichostema.

I believe this is a Dutch introduction, an herbaceous clematis. It reaches at most 5 feet in height, so is a good candidate for containers. The blooms are small,(1 or 2 inches at most) rather like clematis recta. Claims to be hardy to zone 5. Mine is very new and has ONE bloom now, though I'm told that it begins blooming in May.

Ohh thanks everyone!! Hi Joan! How are you? Carol my friend! Isabella is wonderful! She just celebrated her 5th birthday! with a huge party ..some 90 people or so.. Now how are you? and your whole family? Here are some pictures of Bella the first one taken last year... and the last few were just taken sometime last week Bella enjoying the pool with some of her friends

She just gets more beautiful each year!
Our greatest joy is our one year old grandson, Jake. Too bad he lives closer to you than to me.
