| I have a Kodak Z700, and I love it. But following some rough travel treatment, it won't come on and stay on anymore. In fact, when I turn it to "auto," the white Kodak screen comes on for a second, then dies, leaving only a blinking red light to indicate it's alive at all. I use lithium batteries that have plenty of charge left. My smart card has never been replaced, but the "internal memory" and "smart card memory" are usually the same.

| Not sure if it's time to put out to pasture...but I would try some other batteries 1st before I retired it...if you take a lot of pics (i'm sure you probably know this) lithium batteries don't last long...IMO for deductive reasoning and peace of mind that's what I'd do....Sorry couldn't be more helpful!
