| It wasn't fair to the theme-of-the-week thread for me to swamp it with my stuff. But, this week's theme is kind of one of my favorite subjects, so... since I couldn't "eat just one" I started this thread for the overflow:

| I can only echo what everyone else has said. Thank you for posting...keep it up. :) The red and yellow double tulip is breathtaking. What is the white one that looks like it's been sprinkled with sparkly fairy dust? The morning glory throat macro is gorgeous. I like them all. Pam |

| Thanks for the kind words above. All the flower pics in the forum are just gorgeous. I've enjoyed them all. That blue columbine, Pam, is just lovely. Great flower and picture. I have had sporadic success with columbines. I can't keep them going for some reason. I'll try to find the one good pic I have of one of mine. The azelas are lovely the way they envelope the picture. They are a total no go here so, I'll just have to enjoy yours Pam. The clematis pairing was great. Oh, I almost forgot, the white one is an oriental pear in bloom. The pink one above it is an Oklahoma redbud. And, excellent work deciphering the backlit morning glory macro. |

| The monarda above reminded me of one of mine I took a couple of weeks ago. I thought about saving it to post around Halloween the way it came out.

| rc, Monarda doesn't age well, does it. :) Mine looked about the same way as yours at that point. I've had discussions with gardening friends about how some blossoms "die well" and others....well, they just don't. |
