These Allium, 'Globemaster' seedheads (about 7" diameter), are just as ornamental in the garden as when they're in bloom:
Would anyone else care to share their seedheads? Julie |

RC, Thank-you. Yours are beautiful! Not sure what the first one is - some kind of cone flower? Ron, Thanks for sharing, both of you. Julie

Julie, I like the photo.' I believe your allium is not globemaster but christophii ( Stars of persia) Karen

My first pic is a wildflower, Indian Paint Brush I think. Second is a wild thistle. And, the third one is a little grass that went to seed. LOVE that angle on the poppy Ron. Joan, glad to hear your hubby is being so productive. ;) Thanks all.

RC, Thanks for the IDs on your photos. I've never seen Indian Paint Brush before. It reminds me of the native coneflowers we have around here. Karen, I used to have 'Star of Persia', but it died out. It's a much larger globe, sometimes reaching 10+ inches in diameter. Its florets are spaced much farther apart: Here's Allium, 'Gladiator' seedheads. Julie
