| Daylily from last year. Our daylilies are doing very poorly this year because of the drought. We can water only one day a week now from 12AM to 7AM in our area. I'm trying to keep some shrubs and dogwoods alive. Everything else has to take its chances. Rain will return, I keep telling myself.

| OMG gmom, I have quite a passion for daylilies, and I have nothing like that! Is that form a hose-in-hose type? Can you please tell me the name of it? I normally don't like double DLs, but I DO like this form. Stunning! Julie |

| Julie, thanks. I have no idea what it is called- not even sure where it came from but probably one my mother brought with her when she moved in with us back in the '80s. I always call it a double orange daylily. They can be very pretty some years and other years just so so. I fear this is going to be one of the off years. |

| They're so pretty, we always call them "highway" lillies, cause you always see big clumps of them along the roads. |
