No special lens, just a used Sony Cybershot W7.

Here comes the trick,...I put the camera into a watertight pelican box, drilled holes, added snorkel for lens extension, fresnel and glued glass. Hocked up some wires, [needs soldering] with a motion sensor. Put camera very close to the branch.
