| I am one that keeps photos in my camera because I really don't know how to store them or the best way. Can someone tell me if storing them in places like photobucket or some other carrier is the best or saving them on a disc is better?
I appreciate your help. |

Storage sites are fine for sharing but I wouldn't entrust any of them with my photos. No data storage place is fail-safe. Use sites such as Photobucket by all means but also keep your pics on a disc. |

| I use photobucket, it's great for online sharing and it's FREE. Photobucket is not where I store my photos. I store on my computer and on archival disk. |

| I do remember when Photobucket went down and lots of pictures were lost - nothing is foolproof. I would back up to disk also. |

| When did that happen? I have been using them since 2004, guess I got lucky. |

| Zitro-Joe, it didn't effect everyone. I didn't loose my pictures - but there were some that did. It has been a few years ago - I can't remember when. |
