was the original photo for a school project that you hoped to get an "A" on? I would say that the only think that would be keeping you from getting that "A" would be the fact that there are those blurry leaves in the bottom left corner. Its a great photo! I think it would be awesome if you took it in sepia or even black and white and probably from other angles. the second photo is awesome too! its so neat how the trunk has so much life. looks like if you would stand there, it would wrap you up!

jaacka...how does one tell the difference between the sexes? I'm curious!

Kt...Kapok tree? I dunno...don't recall ever seeing one...do they grow here in Florida? I'll have to do some research, I guess.

flower face...no school project...I just shot the tree the other day...it grows in my neighbor's yard.
