If it's still green, I'd just be patient. One of my Red Oaks is way behind the other two, but is just starting to leaf out almost a month later. But I'm not an expert. I was visiting a friend, and noticed a beautiful old Burr Oak in his backyard. He pointed out a misshapen 2' seedling by his house that he was going to have to dig out when his neck surgery finished healing. Nice guy that I am, I offered to dig it out to see how it responded. The curved trunk and branch died off, and as I went to empty the pot, I saw a 2" shoot growing out. It's now about 4". Interesting that the existing branches died off and a new shoot appeared. Weird. Hopefully you're will start to leaf out soon! vince

This weekend I was able to give the quilt to Lawson and his reaction was wonderful. He liked it and loved the animals. I think at this point the pillow is his favorite part. He says he's not giving up the pillow I gave him as part of the baby quilt but this one will go on his bed right next to it. After a couple days of listening to us all talking about quilts (I was up in Atlanta for the GA Quilt Show) he started to understand what it was all about. He asked "Did you really do each one of these stitches yourself? And did this start out like little pieces of blanket then you put them all together?" I'm not sure he believed me when I said yes! lol I had so much fun giving this to him!

To post pictures: 1. Open an account on a free picture hosting site such as Photobucket, Webshots, Flickr, etc. 2. Make your album "public" so others can see your pictures .....In Photobucket: Click on "Account Options" (top right corner) ..........Next, click "Edit Album Settings" ..........Then, where it says "My album is", be sure it says "Public" (if not, change it to "Public") 3. Using camera software that came with your camera or other software like Microsoft Picture Manager, resize the picture so it's less than 600 pixels in both directions. It's best to resize based on a percentage (like 20%) so the picture dimensions remain consistent (not stretched out vertically or horizontally!) 4. Upload the picture to your account (see #1) 5. If you use Photobucket, when you see your picture on the site, copy the link from the box labeled "HTML Code" (I don't know where the link is in Webshots, Flicker, etc.--I use Photobucket) .....[BTW...You can also resize your pic on the Photobucket site] 6. Simply paste the link from the "HTML Code" in your message...you're done! When you preview your message you will see the picture. Is this understandable??? [Please let me know if it's not so I can re-work the instructions!]
