Funny, but I really have never thought I looked that much like my mom. My younger sister is between my mom and me on the B&W shot, I think we resemble each other. I can see her in my DD as well. PM, Other than my dad and brother, all the other men found "excuses" not to come. At this time of the year field work is first and foremost on Rick's mind. The pots are new. They are from the same collection of several that I put by the front door. As for planting the front area, I have done quite a bit but everything is quite small so it doesn't look all that exciting. Thanks for the sweet comments. I believe this is the same container the last time I visited. I like this combo of plants as well.

Viper is adorable, I love how he is standing beside the lopers, looks as if he is ready to do his duty. :) I grow CPM and love the colors of her as the seasons change in my area. Right now though she is buried under a few feet of snow. :( I had those yellow glads in my cutting space last summer. I sure hope the corms overwinter in my basement, they sure are bright and pretty in a boquet. RdV is one gorgeous rose. I had it in my old garden and for some reason I haven't replaced it yet here in my new garden. Every time I see a picture of her I want her, love that rose and the color is so special among all my other pinks and yellows. Thanks for sharing. Valerie

Belinda's Dream is a must. Big healthy bush. Tons of beautiful, fragrant pink blooms with nice cutting stems. Beautiful foliage that stays clean all the time. Also Grand Amore. A beautiful red HT that blooms like crazy and stays clean all season. It passed Germany's ADR 2 yr test, so it should do quite well over on this side of the pond.
