It's smoke from the fires in south Georgia and Florida. We are about 240 miles away. Last Sunday was very bad.

Wow, I thought that fire was out! We have a winter place about 70 miles south of Lake City. Where is the fire at now?

I don't know the progress of the fires- I can't find a good update on them. Georgia needs rain and more rain, from top of the state to the bottom. We are drying up.

Wow...I've heard there are places all over US that have been in drought...

The smoke though-240 miles away...drifting that far...Hope some good rain comes your way soon...

That looks almost like my backyard did last week the dust was that bad. I heard Florida got rain and it helped to put the fires out but haven't heard about Georgia.
