Church Dome

Have had a great opportunity photographing the interiors of old and historic buildings of East Liverpool OH for documentation.
I am still learning settings that work best so any suggestions and constructive criticism welcomed!

What a great project! And, you're off to a good start. In this type of photography, I think it's important to photograph some of the details in larger elements when possible, such as an ornate section of the glass dome. Also, when documenting architecture, getting the correct color balance is important. Consider some post-processing to correct the yellow color cast from the tungsten lighting in the wide shot of the dome.

You mean like this part of flower of the stained glass? Photobucket

I've had lots of fun doing them. Little doorways, confusing passageways, dark stairwell, to name a few. We haven't had any luck so far this year getting permission to enter any. Had promises or no's. We had at least 13 that we've gotten to do last year!

Here's another small example of Thompson Bldg in East Liverpool OH.
