Infinity edge is pretty easy I think. That would be your skimmer too. No fish, no plants but maybe a lily there isn't much to filter. Add a UV to stop green water and the muck it generates. Add a chemical like AlgaeFix to to stop macroalgae and you won't have that muck. I'd be surprised if you had to vacuum it more than once a year, if that. As a reflecting pool it can be very shallow, like a few inches if you wanted, with just a small deeper area for the lily. Then you wouldn't even need a vacuum, a broom would work.

Hi, Our Jack Dempsey doesn't fight so much at his reflection, as he just thinks he has another fish in the tank that doesn't bite back! His colors are greys/blues/black rainbowish with fluorescent orange on his back,tale and underside and dark spots on his sides. He's beautiful. He interacts with all six family members differently. He plays best with my husband. He jumps in the water and swims sideways in our 55 gal. tank making a lot of splashes. When he wanted attention he'd flick the thermometer around until he broke it and I had to remove it. He'd even flick his tale with a splash for attention. Jack loves playing a peek-a-boo around the corner with my hubby. He loves playing with the 5x5 plexiglass mirror on the outside front and the 5x10 one on the side of the tank. He doesn't get angry. I just think he likes looking at himself and makes faces!!! Funny. Recently we placed a female(Jill was a white color with pinkish color and then it changed when she met Jack) in the tank and she is beating the crap out of Jack. His fins are split. She's ripped his scales out and stays at the top left hand corner by the heater. His mouth looks sore from liplocking. Her top lip has a small bruise looking scab. I'm not sure what type of Jack Dempsey either of them are. They were fine at first doing their ballet dance. Something changed then. No caves just gravel, fluval 2 system. Pickle bucket water change at least 1x a week. Only had the female 1 week. Presently separated the 2 by plastic canvas. Any other advice? Please. Living in the Yukon Territory CANADA

Also, if you are located on Lake Norman, did your agent explain to you that there are 7 years worth of inventory of just waterfront homes? Right from the start, you have a 50 / 50 chance of being a winner or a loser as far as geting the home sold. Like Chiuse said... you CAN NOT chase the market downwards. You have to price it a bit below market value to get serious interest. What Buyer in their right mind is going to pay market value for a home, knowing that in two months it is going to be worth less. They want a cushion. They will get it. From you, or from the guy down the street. Do not sell the boat slip to your neighbor! If you do, you just decreased the Buyer pool even further. Buyers are making their decision on one thing and one thing only right now, and that is perceived value. In other words, price. It is not true that you can not sell your home. you just need to price it right. A lot of agents do not know how to do this in a market like this. Your appraisal of 12 months ago means nothing to no one. Throw it away. Find what compareable homes are selling for, and then price it at least 15% under those. You need to sell. Interest rates are going up. Each time they do, your Buyer pool gets smaller. Do not get caught up with lowering your price little by little, and never being in front of the curve. You spent your savings and borrowed money for the stager. You need to sell tomorrow! Do not let yourself become one of those that gets foreclosed on or forced into a short sale. what if you brought in some terra cotta pots w/the jute/black mats/rug? maybe did a birdbath, southwestern style, in the middle ? suround it w/some native plants? so many cool ways to add some color right there. bubbling urn, terra cotta, lots of boulders/pebble rock, container plants, I'd prob do something like these rocks, the bubbling urn or a colorful birbath, some mexican pebble rock up aginst the cobble, a few plants in a some colored pots. or something simple like this with a little pathway, the bench, some solar lights or, a little bistro table chairs i'd layer something like this on top of the larger jute rug. how about a place to sit? love these two colors (the wood) w/the terra cotta, black and the aqua (and copper) (oh, but you don't like this color, right? w/the black and copper, I think it's a nice addition. use the cobalt if you prefer) a southwestern style bench up against that part of the wall (you could always do this bench in the color that you like. ) a sun on the wall behind it, a copper southwestern style door handle, and pots to match? maybe a southwestern door mat. These are just thrown together. you could pick better colors and styles. gave you the wood bench here w/the cobalt pot. love these colors
