I know this is a bit (ok, a lot) overexposed, but he was pretty quick and didn't give me time to adjust and re-shoot! I like the photo anyway and am pleased with the focus and color. I only wish the detail in his 'tail' wasn't washed out.

no bugs this morning :). don't know anything about dragonflies, but was thinking it might have been using that plant as a resting/snoozing spot? probably just got caught out to late (got cold) and clung to anything handy.

Thats great! Are there any mosquitoes coming out yet? Usually the dragonflies will follow the mosquitoes but they will eat any bugs, even the good ones lol. I am always happy to see them though. We have had a few mosquitoes already and we have lots of dragonflies.
