Any good photo classes online

Posted by carla17 (My Page) on

I want to gain more knowledge about photography just for my pictures to be better and understand terms. Has anyone ever taken an online class? I'm going to check out some books this week. If anyone would care to suggest a simple book, I would appreciate that.
I'm not sure I want to go to the local technical college for a course.

A good beginners book is "Understangin Exposure" by Bryan Peterson.

helped me a good deal.

I wouldnt be so apprehensive about the college course. Im taking my second one now, and love it. Its so much easier (for me) to learn with a hands on approach AND be able to ask questions.
