| My camera is saying "formatting error" when I turn it on. It is a Sony DSC-S60 digital camera. What do I need to do to fix this issue.
It has been a very good camera for the three years I've had it, and it wasn't inexpensive. Please help! Thank you. |

| kayjones, I don't know if this will help, but I did an online search for your error and found your users's manual. It says for you to format the media[your memory stick] (pgs 50 and 51). Caution: if you format it, you will lose everything on it. I have a DSC-H2...maybe someone else has your model and can be more helpful. Pam |

| Thanks, Pam - camera card was damaged - replaced it and it works just fine. |
