| I asked about this before but still have the same problem. Hope someone can help. I have a Canon Power Shot A 570 digital camera which keeps telling me to change the batteries. I just bought new ones and it's still the same. I searched on the net about this and a lot of people with this camera complain about the same thing.Other then sending it to the company is there anything I can do... |

| I was reading that this is a common problem with this camera but have yet to find a solution. How many shots can you make with a re-charge? How many more shots with the low battery indicator on? It seems this camera will drain batteries when left in camera for only a couple of days. You could have bad battery contact terminals, sometime by just cleaning them will help. Some have bent out the contacts with a small screwdriver and this also helped. I was reading something about re-setting your camera with new batteries, think it was like this...take batteries out and push power button for at about 30 seconds. I would try this first. Konrad |
