Surreal 'something'

I wanted to practice up with some macros on my new cam a little this morning. But, the clouds were out and the wind was blowing everything all around. Everything was pretty much a train wreck.

But, if you take a nice flower and mess around with the editing, you can get something. Kind of reminds me of surreal art. Of course, art it ain't, but, I thought since we had been talking about the pros and cons of digital photo editing, it might make the point that nowdays you can wind up with something that can be of interest that has VERY little to do with being a photo. And certainly not a good one. :)

Nice effect!
It really makes the Daff stand out.

Here's one I did last year.
A bouquet of tulips using an extrude filter.

Now THAT is some digitally enhanced surrealism! Neat effects.

What program did you use to get them.

RC...it is art.

RC,
I'm not positive, but I think I used MGI Photo Suite.
That program is loaded on my "dinosaur" computer, but not this one, which we've only had for a few months.
I was just playing around with silly affects one day, and thought this one was cool.

Hehe. Wild!

That red in there looks like and embryonic "something" that would grow to jump out of someone's chest in a space sci-fi flick! :) Or, maybe its Zoro's whip, or maybe...its just pretty.
