One can't really picture the size of it, the hole for instance, you can put your hand in it.
It is build to size as plan.

Perhaps you are right KT?
Mine is about the same height then what the link shows.
I figured, if I put it too close to the ground, the owls will not go in it..time will tell.

That is a lot bigger than what it looks. Hope you have good luck attracting the ducks or owls. Keep us posted on what happens. That is very interesting.

I did attract something LOL, but not what I had in mind! At the time when I was building it, I didn't know, that it's also a perfect honey bee swarm lure.
About 2 weeks ago, a swarm went in, [not my bees] at that time, I wasn't interested and didn't had the time to take it down, but did exactly 2 weeks after they went in.

This is what the bees did in two weeks, ...moved them into a box.

The bottom of the house was insulated and there was a bumble nest inside with some bumbles and 2 dad honey bees.
A little later I have witnessed, the honey bees made up,... by killing one of them as you see here.

Now that you've moved the bees out will the ducks nest there? That is a big swarm of bees. I know nothing about the birds and the bees.

No, still no duck, have seen a owl looking out last fall.
