Sometimes I have to laugh at myself...I think I can just get a nice brisk walk around here and instead end up stopping and taking pictures...Have made it once without stopping and what a constraint that was, lol...I guess I COULD leave my cam at home...Fat Chance...teehee! These pics in order as I walk...thanks for putting up with me....I'll make it a 2-part so it won't take long to load, (hopefully)

| The water was pretty high...the road was closed for traffic but accessible by walking...You could see where the creek crossed it in a few places...It's about 8/10 mile walk... juanital |

| Is there much wild life in the area? |

| There is wildlife, but the most to see in the main part of park are fowl:hawk, crow, a couple different woodpeckers, smaller birds, etc...Last year we saw an eagle...Can occasionly 'hear' deer...I don't snap good pics of birds, got a groundhog last year that was half way decent...We occasionally walk the trails...but probably, no matter how quiet you walk, don't see much of anything else... I suppose if you get there early, early...and this is what dh says, probably can see the animal kingdom waking up! juanital |
