| We're in a D-3 to D-4 Extreme drought here.
About the only wildflowers blooming are in my yard.
The dust in the sky makes for some colourful sunsets.
Corn has been up for about a month, but it has stopped growing.

| Nice sunset! Weather can be frustratng to tolerate in many scenarios, extended drought certainly is included. It does not happen often here in the northeast but I have family in the southeast that have had issues for at least 5 years. Rain affects the cosmetic issues in peoples lives but truly affects quality of life much more for some. To make your living at the mercy of weather can be stresssful. Heres hoping for climatic relief in your area. |

| Nice showing, Kentuck! We still have snow around and it's looking good again after more then 10 years with our ponds drying up. The corn still looks good and it's still early in season for them to grow well with some rain,...hopefully! Looks like the field was just weeded. |

| Thanks Crunchpa and Konrad! Yes, making a living where weather is involved is always a gamble, but in the last few years it is a gamble that we have been on the losing side of. Yes, Konrad, the cornfield was just weeded, or about half of it was when I took the pic. Yesterday, the corn was all wilted when I drove by to check on it, but then it was the middle of the day, it looks better in the mornings and evenings. Kt |
