Is this an acceptable price for a tripod?

It's a used Manfrotto/Bogen tripod. The model is 190CBL with 3001BD ball head. The price is $125. I've tried to google for information but couldn't find any. Would you know how old is this model? Is it worth the price? I'm going to use it mainly on my Canon 40D with 70-200 f/2.8 white lens. Will it be steady enough for it? Thank you.

It looks like you're not going to get an answer on this forum. Tripods are discussed all the time at DPReview, though. I suggest you post your question here--that is, if you haven't already bought the tripod. :-)

Thanks Alisande. I forgot all about this thread. I did a little research myself and figured this tripod wasn't what I wanted.
