I want to thank everyone for their love and support for our 'kids'. You are all wonderful! Who knew GW would bring us so many friends? Ianna- Thanks, they are cute, but no adoptions, for now :) I'm not really sure what causes colic (I'm hardly an expert) but I know that all vets and horse owners fear it...and it has something to do with the horse's digestion being blocked. If they lay down and roll around, their intestines can twist and they die. Very sad! My mom lost her horse that way, some years ago. She boarded her horse with a friend and it came on very suddenly. So, Mandy is running around a lot, drinking, eating a little and we hope her appetite improves. If it does, she should be just fine! Every day, she looks better :) Oh, the water heater was sparking (or so it seems) because the boys came up to drink and were dipping their noses in really quick....and out again. Not their usual behavior at all. So, we got a new heater the other day and it's much better. We even saw Mandy taking a drink today, so we know they're using it again. You're killing me. I'm sitting inside a boring office with beautiful weather calling to me outside and you are playing in the garden. It's just not fair. Anyway, congratulations.

Thanks Susan! I knew I was in trouble when the nurse couldn't get the cannula in correctly. Then later when they went to add the steroid, it wouldn't work, so she tried my other hand - couldn't get it in and another guy came to do it. I have a lot of bruises on the backs of my hands. I have very thin skin on my hands but they usually do it there because of my rolling veins.

It went from Live Oak to Tallahassee, with lots of nothing between, typical yard sale stuff. In town they had it in 3 parking lots, that was the more expensive items or dollar store type things. I went back today (alone) since other places joined in. I got a pair of shoes, a small wooden table, a ziplock bag full of thread and some other small stuff. The table stand looked like junk and I itched all the way home (bugs/spiders) but it cleaned up real nice and looks worth something now. I did it the fast way with Old English Scratch cover. I may paint it one day but its fine for now.
