Ibis

White Ibis

There was one in the area with half a leg, I think this may be him. It just waved in the air like he was feeling for the ground while he was hunting.

clairdo, I just want to say what a beautiful portrait! Was there any post processing? I love the look of it. The colors capture the mood and the subject is gorgeous.

minrose,
Your iris is beautiful. I have a question for you. It seems to me that when I photograph purple flowers, they always look blue in the final outcome. Do you ever experience that and how do you get a true purple color?

Pam,
thank you, I guess I have the opposite happen, when I am trying to photograph a blue flower it looks more purple than blue. I also have trouble capturing the true color of reds. I think it has alot to do with what camera you are using. Most of my macro shots are with my Olympus 3000. I guess I don't have any good answers for you.
