The bad part is when they have antique cars in those shows and they are the ones we drove in high school. Marda, ROTFL! That does set you back, doesn't it? I was at the grocery store today selling raffles for our little library's capital campaign & some old geezer pulled into the parking lot driving an incredibly shiny Model T. He was on his way to a car show in a little town about 10 miles from here. He drew quite a crowd.

Oh you guys...you should see the other riders. It is an awesome group of folks. I have "good" bikes at home in Alabama but up here in The City I have a very heavy 7 speed Schwinn. I wear my running shoes and am not clipped in. The other riders are on 24 speed Titanium racing bikes. As my DH says," it is the motor that counts" !! This is great country for riding and a wonderful social group as well. I have made some very good friends and we plan other rides on the side and get together outside of the club. I really appreciate the acceptance they show for this "Alabama Girl". Cameron you do fabulously ! If you were here you would be inspired too I am sure. Thanks Annette, I wish I could take pics w/o stopping as some do....not too coordinated :) Patti they pushed them between the seats on the way there and then filled the bar cars ( 2 of them were assigned to us ) on the way back. We had pizza from Pepes and soft drinks provided on the train after the ride. We all wished they had racks. TM- no problem I can honestly say that the guys all seem to like a woman that is strong and physically active up here in the NE. I get compliments all the time ! So "animal" it is :) I will get more pics for you. c

HI,all! This is my first time posting myself. James ususally does it. Granny we will be bringing some of the Gold Nuggets Lamium with us. Allison we should have a few starts if your friend wants some. It is gold with a white stripe down the middle and has I think pinkish purple flowers. It stays nice all winter. We got the original from Franklin Park Conservatory. Bev James doesn't remember bringing that type of tomato. The poppies and lavender sound good to me. We have been out potting and weeding this morning. We have ready to go... golden tiara hostas bressingham blue hosta stilletto hosta un named varieties of hosta centuria montana zebra grass dwarf zebra grass gold nuggets lamium anne greenaway lamium lilacs(white) ostrich ferns japanese painted ferns vinca minor varigated stargazer lilies crimson pixie lilies crimson pirate daylily and probably a few more things. We have a small swap in Stasburg the week before. I also sent the swap info to my brother who had some people from his church interested. Can't wait to see you all... Michelle
