I have some Mobil 2T now and have used it in the past. It's good oil but I won't lose any sleep over it's demise. I also use Amsoil 100:1 synthetic, Opti-2, as well as several others. All are virtually smokeless and seem to be far superior to conventional 2 cycle oils. They form almost no carbon, smoke very little, and engines seem to last longer using synthetics. Of the 3 oils I mentioned Mobil 2t smokes more but not a significant amount. As far as stocking up for the future Mobil recommends a maximum shelf life of 5 years including there synthetics. I do wonder though about the future of 2 cycle oil. What will be available in 10 or 15 years? If 2 cycles are not manufactured in the near future what oils will be available then?

The engineers thought it would be a good idea coming off the highway on short ramps to not have to downshift through all those cogs, but rather upshift once more and volia you are back in first. This works great until you forget what gear you are in and grab 1st at 50mph. More than your thighs flex when that happens. The widowmaker put down nearly 60hp but handled like a chipmunk on crack being chased by a broom. Scary bike. The boat -- aptly named as the best 2 days of this bikes existance was the day I bought it and the day I sold it.

Cartegena can be a tough area, too. It's been almost 10 years since I was there, but there were tons of armed soldiers throughout the city. I don't think we would have felt comfortable going out on a tour of our own. We loved going partially through the canal - my brother-in-law; however, said it was like watching paint dry, but if he wasn't gambling, he wasn't happy anyway. My husband and I thought it was fascinating to watch our ship be boarded by the canal pilot and escorted to the eastern (but really westernmost) entrance of the canal. Did you know that the eastern entrance is more west than the western entrance? We also had the opportunity to visit the San Blas islands, home of the Cuna Indians - it was quite an eye-opener to see the sea-level islands. Helene

We gave my younger son a new chainsaw...the older one got the equivalent of cash...those were both well received...now if it would just warm up a bit so DS can get out there and saw up some wood for our fireplaces... I was at a small leather store in Indiana in september and had a notebook made for my hubster with his name on it...he writes everything down for work and really loved it...We gave my son and his gf dollars for a cruise this summer and they loved that! I sent my sister an 11 x 14 framed picture of her entire family from their 60th Wedding anniversary party in October plus a bunch of 8 x 10's of their individual children and families...She was thrilled...the photographer they hired was charging astronomical prices for enlargements so I made her day!
