First of all, thanks for sharing, Heather... they're all beautiful! Second, I think quite a few of our modern day hybrids look alike, and not just the cybisters! I know many of them have slight differences, which allows for the different variety names, but some are close to being twins! Add in all the mislabels, and it's no wonder the whole hybrid family is confusing! I run into photos on the web all the time that are not labeled correctly... I think the growers and suppliers have a moral obligation to try a little harder to get the right labels with the right bulbs... there are a lot of people out there growing bulbs that they think are named one thing, but in reality, they're something entirely different! It's not right! That said, I think if you look closely, and you allow for the slight differences that are natural within a variety, and you also allow for the slight differences that environment can produce... well, it's not all that obvious always, but they are different.

Your second test rose is very interesting. I have had Apricot Silk, but I can't get it to survive winter here. I have lost it twice. If I get it again, it will have to go up by the house somewhere.
