Vintage is listing none of their Chinas as being currently available. In an email I received from Gregg a while back, he informed me again that Vintage would accept orders for custom rooting only thru May 2012. Since we're now just barely past that cut-off date, perhaps they might be willing to squeeze a few more orders in -- especially if the requested variety is one that roots readily (as many Chinas do). If you want to follow Jeri's advice to "grab it while you can", perhaps you should make an inquiry very quickly. Let's hope that the custom rooting option will again be available sooner than later. Hope springs eternal . . .

I really don't like it.. jkayed, the first and second are the same one. The first photo was the seedling debut and the second is the changes from last year! Avedon, the cross is Candied Popcorn Perfection X Be Thine. that was the first time I used be thine so it got the color from Be thine. It has a similiar color to a couple of others in my garden.. My grandmother would have said, "goot ottical". Pity the poor typist like me that typically types every 3rd word 3-4 times. A complicated random combination becomes a nightmare. As a student typist in my prime (age 12) I was able to achieve 10 words per minute ---before mistakes. Wouldn't let us look at the keys. One of my sisters was a professional piano player and she looked at the key board. Why couldn't I look at the stupid typewriter? I can, however, type my name and address to beat hell. Some years ago we had a visitor I didn't want to see. Wife told em I was busy and I sat at my desk typing name-n-address over repeatedly; on a real type writer. Clatter clatter clatter bing thunk.
