best flower photo contest

I read about it here & sent in 3 photos last week. Shocked today to see one of mine is 3rd runner-up! My question is why, when I click on the small image, do I get just a blank page? All the others come up with the flower name, photographer's name and I submitted all that with the photo. I am so not technically inclined.

you know, cyn, that's actually a really great idea! I don't know f you can manage it, but i would send in 2 photos: 1) of the garden in its glory and 2) the culprits sitting beside or in front of their holes(?). terriers? FG would love it. mindy

I have been treated to and enjoyed many beautiful photos and stories on this forum. If anyone is interested, there are a few contests going on right now that are looking for entries of various garden shots and stories as well as photos of flowers and wildlife. I am in no way affiliated to any organizations that sponsor the contests. THis is just a sharing of info only. I think there are so many talented gardeners on here who will have a great chance of winning with their entries and transformations. Just realized you did show it with no mat -- I think that is better, but would try a black mat too. I think it needs something -- the no mat looks a bit severe or off. Trying to figure out what the fix is. Can you try a little less mat on the NYC photo? If not, it is a classic look and works, so don't fret over than one. I like the way turf church looks framed. Good choice with the double matting. I bet the lupines would look great too. The landscapes really are lovely and I hope you find a way to enjoy them at home. Does your .TV have a screensaver? You could display them all! The vertical rainbow is really unusual, and I like that about it, but the idea of a fallen rainbow makes me sad at the same time. It's interesting the impact that image has.

Well, it seems that all of that info is gathered from the entry email. Which, you said you sent; so...my best guess is that it was an accident on the site admin.
