| The shelter where we adopted our cats said that one of them has a "reverse coat" but I don't know what that means. In the frenzy of adopting them it wasn't the first thing on my mind to ask. But now I'm curious. Does anyone know?

| wonder if it's the same thing as "smoke", where the fur is white or very light at the base & darkens as it grows out. Years ago, I had a beautiful black smoke cat; |
