We have three black & tan Miniature Pinschers: one is a 14 yr. old (neutered)male, 'Chiquito'; another
a 12 yr.old (spayed) female 'Bambi' & their (neutered) son 'Rowdy' a 10 yr. old male.
"Chiquito' is showing his age: grumpy towards the other dogs & at times seems 'lost' ... can old dogs get dementia like humans? He also really can snore up a storm at times too! Our 'grumpy old man'!
'Bambi' is SO tiny ... about 8 lbs. & was born with what a breeder calls 'fruit bat ears' ... long, stand up straight naturally whereas the others are not clipped & fold over.
'Rowdy' is a lovable sweetheart ... loves to cuddle!
Having always had German Shepherds for years, these Min-Pins are all new to us & quite an experience! They all like to grab & sleep under covers unlike other small dogs we have seen & each one a very distinctive personality & can actually smile!
Are these dogs approaching their lifespan & do old dogs get senile like we humans?
