How horrible for you. I have no idea if Frontline was responsible or not, but it sure seems suspicious. I am so very, very sorry and know you are suffering terrible heartbreak over this. Please know you are in my thoughts.

Does the vet feel there may be a connection? (Probably not.)

I can't imagine how in a matter of hours anything could cause Leukemia that was terminal within a day.

Blood tests don't lie. I'm very sorry for the loss of your dog, especially at such a young age, and without warning. Serious diseases do usually "come to a head" very suddenly after lingering, often unseen, for a period of time. Again I'm very sorry for your loss. Cancer is a terrible disease, especially when it strikes the young.

I too am so very sorry for your loss of Archie. I have to agree with spedigrees. I hope you can find some comfort that Archie did not suffer a long time with the cancer. Thoughts & prayers...

It sounds like it was probably just a horrible coincidence. Skin sores would surely not form in such a short time after applying such a common product.

Is it possible Archie had leukemia but was not yet sick enough to show symptoms, and the chemicals in Frontline stressed his body enough to lower his immune system? Just a thought. It's such a sad story.
