WooHoo: Great News

We received all of Lily's biopsy results and they came back fine. Still no official diagnosis, but for the first time in four months she is acting like a puppy again. Her salivary glands have reduce in size dramatically also. For the past four months she has mostly slept and ate, that is all. She is playing, exploring, stealing socks, and smuggling leaves into the house now.

She saw the Vet this morning and he was amazed with the difference in her. The only explanation that he can come up with is that her body reacts to physical stress by her glands swelling. The first stress was the long teething time and then she was close to going into heat when she was spayed last week. She wasn't in heat yet, but her uterus was enlarged.

Lucy is doing better than we could have hoped since her surgery last week. She can actually go down the steps now to get outside without losing bladder control.

The other great news is that all three samples came back clean for their coccidia.

Ethel is at the Vets this morning having a dental, but we are not expecting any problems with that.

Did you hear that? It was a huge sigh of relief that maybe this difficult period for all three of these little girls is coming to an end.

Thanks for all of the support.
Linda
