Cat Sub-Q's & Dry Food Question:

dwmc

Ever since he's been on sub-q's he's only been fed prescription can, because:
1. of the moisture content
2. I can crush extra B-12 for energy (not sure it makes a difference at his age!)
3. I can crush probiotic (not sure it makes a difference, because I give him what I take from Wal-Mart!)
4. I can add psyllium fiber (this does keep his stools coming regularly and I will never stop!!)
I have thought of going to prescription dry because I'm sure I'm getting more bang-for-the-buck - but I couldn't add the extras.
Question:
Do you feed DRY food to your sub-q cat? If so, do you find you have to give fluids more? "Laura" on this forum has said not to, but wanted to hear from more of you.
Thanks again - David
