Picture of my two pekes. Mandy, on the right, had to be put down yesterday. Gina, the one on the left, is mourning terribly for her sister. We bought them as 12 week old litter mates 13 yrs ago.

It appears to be a rule that you never face the same direction at the same time. Bo & Roxy--look at Roxy's little half ear and her tongue sticking out.

  • sylviatexas1

    cute pictures!
There ain't a homely one in the bunch!

    Kim, I think they instinctively face different ways;
keeps the boogie man from sneaking up on 'em.

What happened to Roxie's little ear?

  • kim_okla

Poor Rox. She was in a very good rescue group in a new building with new chain link kennels and the dog in the next kennel bit her ear. It could not be reattached. She's not sensitive about me touching it or Bo mauling her head.

    Willie the Wonder Dog

This is my little show dog...just don't know who daddy is.

This is Mr. Grumpy. Or as we like to call him, "The Million Dollar Dog." It's a good thing he was free at the outset.

I'm impressed that Brick has his own camping chair. I think my dogs would not figure out how to get comfortable in it, like Brick has.

Yes, his name is Paw and my license plate is still pawprnt (only 7 letters are allowed) I named him Paw because he was mitten pawed.

I call him Dief, but his true name is Diefenbaker. He was named after the famous Wolf in the TV series Due South that aired in the 1990's.

Max, my GSD, funniest dog I've ever known!

    Max makes me smile too.

How I miss my Lena's deep brown eyes looking at me, she became ill and had to go over the rainbow bridge in August. My little Annie is nearly blind and little Scooby is ill now too and the "spark" in his eyes is fading. I don't think I can live in a house without a pair of those eyes or several. Love all the photos.

I just got my camera - so I don't have a lot of pictures yet of my pets (I have 4 MinPins (Taz, Jazzie, Pebbles and BamBam), Dizzy - a Chinese Crested-Powder Puff, and Beau Clooney a Siamese/tabby mix cat). The last picture is of Lindsey, who passed away at 18 years of age - Thanksgiving 2009.

Bettylu, I want to see the rest of your min pins. I have a red one named Grace, or...Princess Grace, Gracielee, Miss Grace and a lot of other nonsense name. I'd love to see all of your min pins.

This is Tubby, a mostly Iggy from the Animal Shelter. He is our only pet now, after having lost six in one year from infirmities due to old age. We lost five kitties and a dog ranging in age from nine to twenty. Sad year, but Tubby is a new chapter.

The cats said, "What about us??"

I stole adopted Annie (Little Orphan Annie) and her son Pogo from a neighboring barn, where Annie was producing litter after litter. Because they began life outdoors, I have not succeeded in keeping them in all the time.

    Here's Annie:

    And here's Pogo:

I can't believe I have only one dog and two cats......wasn't so long ago that we had many more of each.
