| My dog recently had a small yeast infection in his ear, we cleared it up with Otomax for dogs, I was wondering if this product can also be used on cats?? Just curious since the bottle specifically states dogs as does on line information, Im wondering if there is a different formula for cats or different dosing or if there is something in the ear drops that cats can not tolerate - thanks |

| This question was asked on VIN a while ago. They drug company probably didn't feel like testing it on cats. As far as the ingredients, there are no cat-specific precautions. The same precautions apply to cats as for dogs- don't use in patients with sensitivity to any of the ingredients, not in animals with ruptured ear drums, and not for an extended period of time (longer than 2 weeks or so). I have used similar drugs in cats without any problems. |
