"Hairy Heel Wart" aka "Hoof Wart"

My pig, Pudge, has one of these. The vet has removed it twice (over the course of about 18 mos.), and he gave me iodine to put on it.
Has anyone successfully treated this? I'm reading that regular cleaning, soaking, wrapping and vetericyn are all good ideas.
Any help appreciated.
