Pet Care Tax deduction Act introduced to U.S. House of Representa

I posted this on the KT as well, maybe if all of us who could really use the deduction sign the petition, it will go through.

The Humanity and Pets Partnered Through the Years (HAPPY) Act (H.R. 3501) was just introduced to the U.S. House of Representatives and referred to the House Committee on Ways and Means. The Act would amend the Internal Revenue Code to allow an individual to deduct up to $3,500 for "qualified pet care expenses" - including veterinary care - for a legally owned, domesticated, live animal.

Here is a link that might be useful: Link to sign petition

Before this gets out of control, and people post their thoughts and get hurt/angry feelings, just put in google the bill and read it to find out what it really will do and won't do.
That is all I ask.
