| My (neutered) boy kitty--he's about 4 years old--was on my lap on top of a wool throw. I was petting him, he was kneading me, generally cuddling. Then he jumped off to go do something else. I realized that my right arm was wet! It didn't smell like urine--more a sickly sort of sweetish smell (sorry, but I'm guessing the description is important). And the throw had the same smell. The kitty came trotting back over, smelled the throw and then promptly began to lick it! (argh!). He has never sprayed. And this did not smell like urine. What in the world was this? And do I really want to know? |
