I have a 4 year old Himalayan who LOVES cat grass. It's the kind that you add the water and it grows in a few days. I read that it was supposed to be good for her digestive tract. The only problem she usually spits up/vomits the grass shortly after eating it. Does anyone have any input as to why it won't stay down? Perhaps her system just isn't made for cat grass??

That's normal. Grasses are part of the digestive process but not much actually takes the long road through the cat. The grasses will help the cat to bring up hairballs and gristle and other non-digestible stuff.

Our cat used to go into the back yard to eat grass and then ran into the house to throw up. Thank you so much.
