"Liver disease" is not a very specific diagnosis. There are literally hundreds of different things that can cause liver disease- hepatic lipidosis (which can be a result of ANY disease), infection (bacterial, fungal, protozoal, parasitic), portosystemic shunt, immune-mediated, FIP, FeLV, FIV, cancer, etc. Some problems are more manageable than others but the treatment varies a bit depending on the cause. Of course tube feeding is very important for any cat that's not eating on his own, so keep that up. Has your cat been tested for FeLV and FIV?

Hopefully it's something simple that can be treated medically. Poor kitty. Keep him fed and loved- that's the most important thing right now. If you have a specific diagnosis maybe I can help a little more.

Thank You for answering maghane, he died about 2:30 today,the vet never really specified, fatty liver? he went down hill so fast right after a feeding he started throwing up and sent into convulsions and died, I can`t seem to stop crying he would have been a year next month, thank you again.
