| I'm taking our 18 month old Lab to the vet tomorrow, she's fine, just need to do the yearly check for the heartworm med renewel.
How necessary is it to have her get the vaccination for dog flu? Our radio stations are running lots of ads pushing it. I've been trying to web-research and keep getting conflicting information. She spends little time with other dogs. Thanks for any input. ML |

| Unfortunately, it is not always about how much exposure she has to other dogs... it is more about what dogs have had exposure to her 'land'... strays, wanderers off leash etc... I give my dogs a 7 way shot annually that I get at my local coop or TSC.. soloject 7.... they are about $7 a piece and its all done...just let your vet know by retaining the box end with the batch number etc for her records... hope this helps.. |
