RE: bsl

If you are asking what we think about Breed Specific Legislation here is what it think.

To say certain breeds of dogs are dangerous is not a complete statement. All dogs can be dangerous if in the hands of an irresponsible and careless owner. A dogs nature is to guard and protect it's owner and property. Certain breeds like Staffordshire Terriers, aka: Pitbulls, German Shepherds, Doberman Pinchers and Rottweilershave been the subject of irresponsponsible owners and sensationalist reporting across the country. The media and the inexperienced would have you believe that these breeds are vicious and should be prohibited. However, these very breeds as a whole have proven their stability and good canine citizenry by becoming 'Search & Rescue dogs, Therapy dogs working inside hospitals, professional Herding dogs and family companions for years.

I have a Cocker Spaniel that is meaner than any dog I've encountered. He had been severely abused by his previous owner. I strongly believe, blame the owner, not the dog.

I am sorry, I wasn't asking. I was responding to a question In "Win Win situation on BSL" and when I changed the title it changed to a new thread.
