Comments (5)That's a great idea for butterfly wings. You might could even turn the one over and see if it is way to much of a difference. From your pics they do not look that much off and you could always disguise it w/ glass marbles or mosaic pieces. You could attach some sort of backing that would go down the middle of the back so you could glue on the wings and maybe the body could set on top of the inner edge. I think gonnatry has a clever pic of attaching the glass flowers, that might work for the back. Good luck and happy crafting. Comments (4)Hi, It's on my list, too, so I ordered it earlier this year from Bluebird Haven (http://www.bluebirdhavenirisgarden.com/), which has an astounding collection of historics (and has recently added a great picture of Butterfly Wings, BTW). At the time I ordered, I was told that they "probably" will have it available, but not certainly. At any rate, if not this year you should be able to get it from them sometime after. I'd be curious to know what else was on your grandma's list--historics are my favorites, and part of the charm is knowing little things about their historical contexts. Good luck!
