Questions regaruding diet- hope this NEVER will happen.

Say there's this mother who has 6 kids all around 2 or 3, she isn't right in the head and feeds each kid poorly. Using the food pyramid she does experimentations.

Kid 1- only fruits

Kid 2- only veggies

kid 3- only foods from the breads,rice and grains group

kid 4- only dairy products like milk,cheese and yorgart

kid 5- only meat products

kid 6- only candy and sweets, like chocolate, surgar, lollypops,candy cookies.

What would happen to these children if nothing was done to stop the mother the parents involved? If they had to eat like this until they were 21 or otherwise adult. If they would die, which ones would die first?- i bet the candy kid wouldn't live long. What health issues would they face? Would/how would child protection get involved?.

If the children kept up this kind of eating how long would they live for as Adults?

I'm a preforming artist that might put on a play for mothers day called- A mothers doing- involving something like this.

I prey no mother would actually do this!

I think you may be surprised about the answer to which ones would die first.

I'm not sure why you are posting or what questions you are asking... but if you seriously need answers for your play, I'd talk to a nutritionist... maybe even a nutrition teacher at a college.

I think your play maybe cute but you may need a twist...like the candy kid being the only one that can survive, or the kids secretly sneaking the other ones food's group or something, and how they start mothering each other and sharing their food.. because of the lack of parenting from their sick mother or something.

Good idea,

Okay I'll look around more. I know candy rots teeth and you need teeth to live, maybe if kid was rescued before adult teeth could be damaged, would live.. no? yes? But then again you need calcuim to build teeth and so new teeth might never grow or might be soft and weak

Brandy--(my sisters name is Brandy btw!) I haven't yet heard back from the previous owner but I checked my aol email and it shows she hasn't yet read the email. I very well may have an old email that she does't check anymore. I could go to her new ranch, its just a ways up from me towards the next town but I didn't want to just show up on her porch uninvited :) I'll be able to get a hold of her eventually, and will make sure I do so before my husband needs to start moving things for the renovation/remodel of our farmhouse. Jeri (from this board) has been in touch with me and she is wanting to come out sometime in the next few months to check some of the rose bushes we have here. I sent her a TON of pictures on email, poor thing! She's been very friendly and helpful. I haven't been able to answer this post because I've been camping at the beach with my kiddos and although I had access to internet I tried very hard to just sit back and enjoy the quiet time with my kids :) Yes, I'm familiar with the Mojave desert, we camp there all the time during the cooler months (desert camping is usually from about Oct-April for us!) We take the dirtbikes out to California City in the winter and we spend the summers at the lakes or the beach. I'll keep everyone updated as I find out information. Jeri gave me some possible names of the other roses we have, I have no idea if they are anything special (my gut says they aren't but I dont know a THING about roses LOL) but she says she saw enough that she still thinks its worth a trip out to our ranch to check them out. So I'll be in contact with her about that. Thanks for everyones interest! Sammy--I wll have to check out the Dainty Bess, the Natalie Bloxham, Arcola Gardens and Seil roses to see their resemblance to mine. I'm still not sure anyone (or even Jeri?) is convinced its a Kathleen but she sent me a picture of the Rancho Camulous Kathleen out here near where I live and it does look eerily similar. Well it died. =[ The tinyyyy spear that was inside of it pulled. Along with two of the fronds at the same time. Almost the entire inside of the palm was rotted out. I lost a lot of my palms this winter, and all I have left right now is a queen palm. Shes holding on strong though. I did read on here that pam cooking spray could be used to get rid of mites in multiple posts when I typed spider mites into the search bar. I thought it sounded crazy too, but it killed them, so I subscribed to the idea. I guess I know to just rinse rinse rinse next time. I'll also improve my soil mix for all my future palms. No more miracle grow for me! I think my other mistake was trying to imitate their environment in the summer too much. I should have been trying to keep them cool and dormant instead of warm and wet with limited light. Sorry it took so long for me to respond. I left this post when it seemed relatively dead, but then I come back and there's 29 responses! hahaha

We can afford our house now since we redesigned and cut some good square footage now that we are with a different builder...its just frustrating having to pay all those fees all over again and they don't help us continue to pay down the actual cost of the house. The $400 is the only figure he has told us thus far. The cost of our house is going up $20K which is pennies for some based on the cost of living, but that isn't for us. Loan officer originally said we had to have a certain percentage of the cost of the house down for the interim construction loan and we have worked hard to cover that but also have continued to put extra money down "just in case." I guess I thought that would be enough wiggle room. We'll just have to hope it isn't too much more! Sometimes I have to remind myself that as frustrating as this whole process has been, he is healthy as am I, we have a (rental) roof over our head because we were able to sell our old house, and our happy in our careers. The children not eating breads would have a niacin deficiency. They added niacin to breads after a horrible plague broke out in the early 1900s. The disease causes diarrhea, dementia and dermatitis.

Runswalken . I am very curious now ! You are a true advocate of a healthy diet. I too, am very concerned about additives, etc. in pet and people food. Are you a vegetarian? I see your comments on the pet forum as well. I would be interested to hear exactly where you are coming from and what you have found to be the best food for your family and pets. We just have one adult cat right now and she is doing great with her Urinary Tract Purina formula cat food.

I eat meat- But try to get more veggies/plants, have a friend who is vegan, and I LOVE the vegan cookies at Mississippi market.- I useally search for wild foods in the summer time( day lillys,cattails,dandilion,berries,wild violets,)- drink naked juices too.

Purina isn't a good cat food, dry causes dental issues also- Felinefuture.com is a pro raw site thats good- otherwise try Innova EVO, Ziwi peak,Orijen or Instincts.

For the protection of peoples children I also highly urge you all to view- What's REALLY in your pets FOOD? on You tube.

The child eating only meat is likely to die from a vitamin K deficiency. It causes problems with blood clotting. The child will likely die from an internal hemorrhage.
