| Hi all,
Anyone had any experience with this? My DS tilts his head more to one side than the other. I mentioned this to the doctor at his 4 month checkup today and he thinks it might be muscular torticollis. He recommended that we see a Physical Therapist to correct the problem. I've looked up the condition online but would like to hear some first-hand accounts from a mom who has dealt with it. Thanks, JacksMom

| My son had torticollus in the neck. I noticed that his head tilted to one side and his one eye and cheek were bigger looking than the other side. We took him to a physical therapist and they teach you different stretches to the muscles. He is now 18 months old and you can't even tell that there was a problem. The exercises are really easy. At first, he didn't like stretching that tight muscle, but the more I did it, the better it got. Hope this helps. |
