Probs w/ toddler going to sleep in bed? Idea

I don't know if this will work for others but our DS is 2 1/2 and just got interested in tents. While at MIL's she made a tent by putting a blanket over the back of the couch. Shane has gotten so into tents and LOVES them. So after Christmas we were shopping in Wal-Mart and found a tent for children made by the same company that makes the adult tents for W-M. They were orginally $20 marked down to $15 and we bought one for Shane. At the same time, we bought a sleeping bag for kids~$8. He loves sleeping in his tent on his bed now and we've had no problems with nap time or bed time. Just last night his dad asked where he was going to sleep (he sometimes, maybe once every two weeks or longer would end up with us) and he said, "Oh, in my tent!" Some kids don't like to feel closed in like a tent could make you feel but others may feel comforted. We keep both flaps open on either side. Just a thought for some of you with the older toddlers who can't get them to sleep.
