How many was right about the sex of their baby?

Not just because of the u/s or any other way that claims boy/girl. You just thought it was a boy/girl. Just naturally referred to it as he/she.

Not me! I was convinced DS was a girl. No one else thought so, but I just knew he was a she. We didn't ever ask to know from ultrasound, but I was the only one surprised when I didn't have a little girl. Alissa

We had a feeling he was going to be a boy. The ultrasound tech guessed it was a boy, but did not write it on the chart. Was that the cord, thigh or penis? He turned out to be a boy.

I just KNEW I was having a girl. Had 2 ultrasounds and couldn't tell. Turned out was girl. I don't know all the legends/myths but I had a lot of morning sickness, terrible heartburn, only gained 35 lbs and didn't show until 7-8 months, was 2+ weeks late.

Our ultrasound tech said that there appeared to be a cyst on teh ovary of our little one - and we were FURIOUS! We didn't want to know the sex. Anyway - that was at about 32 weeks gestation. So - here we were thinking we'd have a girl, when I delivered a gorgeous little boy! Without word of a lie, hte first thing my husband said when he saw his little man was, "My little daughter has a dick!" and I said "Well I hope he doesn't have ovaries!" He had an ultrasound 2 days after birth, and it turns out that all is OK - no sign of any abnormality! What a stuff up!

I knew my baby was a boy from the moment I found out I was pregnant. Ava Nicole was born 9 months later! :-) Jen

I was absolutely positive I was having a little girl and I was right! The ultrasound also said girl but I knew as soon as I found out I was pg it was a "SHE."

I just knew with my first one. Every sonogram I had we couldn't tell, but I just knew it was a boy. I was right! My last 2 children, I guessed right, but not with the same "sureness" as with the first one.

I was sure I was having a boy from the beginning and I was right.

My dh said from day one we were having a girl. u/s confirmed it at 5 1/2 months. He was so smug!

I was wrong every time! I thought both my boys would be girls, and that both my girls would be boys! This time, I've got the feeling it's a boy, but my best friends both say that it's a girl. We'll see soon enough!

I knew before I was even sure I was pregnant. The night before I took the hpt, I had a dream that I took one and there was a big blue "+". From that moment I was sure it was a boy. (Taking the test the next morning just confirmed I was pregnant: ) I never mentioned it to anyone other than DH though, because I didn't want to have a girl who would hear her whole life that I wanted a boy.
RE: How many was right about the sex of their baby?

I *thought* I wanted a boy (mostly so I could do 'boy' stuff with him...dress him up cowboy-ish, have a puppy named Chance, etc. etc...lol) but I *knew* I was going to have a girl (mostly b/c I always said it's a boy!). All the 'signs' and old wives tales were split almost dead even...Even the Chinese calendar predictions could have gone either way, my birthday was my due date...

I had a feeling it was a boy. But, because he was my first I wasn't sure or not. The people I met - half were convinced it was a boy while the other half was convinced it was a girl. Well I delivered a healthy baby boy!!

To funny--I was postive the baby would be a girl. When they said it was a boy after I delivered I asked DH if I had heard right. Then I wanted to check for myself! It was so funny. Both DH and I were so confident he would be a girl. But we are so thrilled with him I can't imagine having a girl now.

I was sure my first would be a boy. I even thought the u/s was wrong because it showed she was a girl. Score: u/s 1, me 0. The next time, my pregnancy was EXACTLY the same, so then I thought it would be another girl. Wrong again. The next pregnancy was unlike the others, and I had no feeling either way. Final score: u/s 3, me 0.

I had a dream with ds#1. My grandfather had died the day after I found out I was pregnant. I had started getting morning sickness so I didn't feel like driving the 500 miles to the funeral. In my dream about 2 or 3 weeks later, my grandfather came back to say goodbye. He told my me not to worry about him because I was going to have my hands full. He referred to my child as a he. I'm not a supersticious (SP?) person, but after that, I just knew it was a boy. I'm pregnant with ds#2. I really thought I was having a girl this time.

I knew from the start I was having a baby boy. Everything was so different from my first pregnancy which turned out I had a little girl. Soooo I knew this was a boy then ultrasound confirmed that twice on October 1 2001 Jackson Thomas made his debut. The Love Of my life!!!!! Love, Stacie and Jackson |

This time around, everything was soo different than my first preg, and I had a girl the first time. I felt it was a boy, and even when we were still trying, I was always looking at boy clothes and even bought a few blue items. Sure enough, the u/s showed a nice "package" and my little Ethan was born 6 weeks ago yesterday.

u/s showed girl every time, but i never had a true feeling one way or another...perhaps just because i didn't want to want one or the other and be wrong!! but....we did *want* a girl and that's what we got ( : love, jami and nyomi (5 weeks old)

I had no idea. I carried way up front, we didn't find out the sex of the baby, and my 80 year old aunt who can predict the sex wasn't sure. at around 7 months, DH started calling the baby 'he'. since we couldn't decide on a name, we called baby 'sam/max' Samuel David was born 3 yrs ago next month. It was a treat to have such a suprise after my labor. we're not finding the sex out on this baby, either. sara edd 7-01-02

I knew both the sex and date of birth of both of mine by the time I knew I was pregnant. I just got this feeling both times. With DD it seemed the strongest. I knew the next am I was pregnant and she was a girl. With both pregnancies I lost one of my grandparents (mothers parents) DS was born a few weeks after my grandfather died and DD was concieved the week my grandmother died. I feel God had this in his plan. I was almost scared to get near DH when my fathers mother died. I just knew we would have another child if I did.

I knew Kayla was a girl.. the second I found out I was pg I just knew, so did my hubby. My hubby actually knew I was pg before I did. Anyway, we decided to confirm with the u/s and it was a girl. The tech asked me what I thought it was before she told me.. I told her girl and she said Mothers intuition is usually correct. Jennifer

Hi. I was waaayyyyyy wrong. I thought for sure that my twins would both be boys. I had a wonderful pregnancy without a single complaint (not even morning sickness). My sister was the same way and she had two boys (different times!). The ultrasound proved me wrong. My girls are now almost 8 months! You would think I could've been right about at least one of them! | everyone kept telling us we were having a boy. the drano test (i know it's not really supposed to be accurate) predicted a girl & the amnio confirmed it. lainie was born 6/26/01. |

My baby boy was on time exactly 7-8-01 as predicted and was indeed a boy.. How often does that happen.

Both my DH and I felt from day one that we were having a girl, but we were wrong. We found out through an amnio that it was a boy around 20 weeks. JacksMom

I knew I was having a girl. I always knew and never thought differently even when everyone was telling me I was having a boy. I was right. When the u/s tech asked me what I thought I was having I said girl. She said I was right. She also told me that most first initial instincts from mother are correct.

My first was a girl and I just knew it and I was right! My second was a boy and again I just knew it and I was right!
