42 year old mom

| Hi I am responding to the lady who wanted to hear from other moms that had babies later on in life. I just had my third daughter at 42. She is actually 6 months old right now. Yes I was scared about birth defects but considered the obvious damage that having amnio could cause and decided to not have it. I went for the triple screen instead. It was all in the acceptable ranges and so I deleivered my third daughter on March 9th, 2006....healthy ,dark brown hair and blue eyed beauty.She was 3 weeks early but weighed 7lbs 3 ozs. I think that being an older mom helps you cherish your little one all the more. Especially if it is your last baby. |
