@Blairgirl, Wow.... The Powder is Amazing. I used 1 teapoon of stpp, and filled the rest of the detergent cups with the powder.. and guess what. Only the powder in the prewash cup dissolved completely, with about 20-30% of the main wash powder actually dissolving. Even with that little detergent, everything came out Spotless, and Clean :) There was no stuck on Oatmeal, or Cereal on anything. The un-rinsed Egg Yolk on a pan completely vanished, and our glasses were film free, and clear. I tried the same amount of detergent again, in another load, and it dissolved completely, surprisingly. (I didn't think it'd work, considering my DW hates Powder so much). Once again, everything was Nice & Clean. I'm honestly very curious, to try the Powder without any additive whatsoever. It seems very powerful, and efficient by it self honestly. Oh, and I haven't seen anything stick or redeposit to my glasses or dishes yet, however, if I do, I promise I'll report back. Next Project.. talley_sue, I typed in "wallet purse" into Google and got pages. Most are the "wallet on a string thingy" though but they do have the larger wallet purses. ******* Someone earlier mentioned useing a mens style wallet to reduce bulk in a purse. I would suggest rather getting what is known as a 'European slide wallet'. I have one and they are very thin and lightweight. They look good becasue they are made of very thin leather rather than nylon which looks too sporty for my tastes. They can be slipped into the inside pocket of a suit or slid into the back pocket of jeans or into the tiny inside pocket of a purse. They come in colors. What is nice about slide wallets is that they have a *zippered coin compartment*, something that mens wallets do not have. This is an example of how they look but is not the one I have. If breastfeeding is important to your friend, I would tell her to not give up. It took me 6 weeks to get my baby to latch on properly. I had to supplement with pumping milk and bottle feeding it to him, but he is OK now. He was a preemie and was started on formula and pacifiers in the NICU without my permission. Even if the baby can't latch on, she can pump the milk from her breasts and bottle feed. You can get a manual pump for about $30. WIC will even pay to rent a hospital grade pump. Their is no substitution for breast milk. Formula is basically life support to keep a baby alive until they can eat solid food. Read the ingredients... you can't say most of them. That is not food. But, then again, I don't eat stuff I can't pronounce (unless it is ethnic food made with ingredients I can pronounce). Most people don't think about food and what it really is and don't mind giving their babies formula. Of course this is a personal choice, but if the desire is there to breast feed a baby, it will work out for them eventually. I had 6 weeks of very frustrating times, but my baby gets real food only nature can create.

Sign up for Enfamil's baby program. They send me the checks good for formula all the time. I've received a few of the 14 oz sample cans in the mail. This link should get you there. Also, you might consider switching to an equivalent store brand formula. The formula industry is highly regulated and so there aren't a lot of differences between the different types of formulas. Another option might be to find an Enfamil distributer in your area who distributes formula samples to the doctor's offices. You might be able to explain your plight and see if they could give you some samples. A previous coworker of mine used to live next to a Similac dealer. The dealer always gave cases of formula away to my coworker to give away to friends. A friendly Enfamil dealer might be willing to help you out a little.
